Is it a religious school?
No. It is open to students of all faiths and promotes good ethical and moral values
Where is it situated?
In the suburb of Paddonhurst at the corner of Trelawney and Toynbee Avenues approximately two kilometres from the City centre
Can I submit an appeal or reapply at any time?
In 2015. It has been operational for just over 10 years
What type of School is it?
The name College is use but Liberty Christian College it is a private High/Secondary, co-educational school with classes from Form 1 level up to 6th form levels.
Does the school offer computers?
Yes. All students from Form 1 to Form 4 are taught the ICDL syllabus.
What Co-curricular activities are on offer?
Sport – Athletics, cross country fitness training, netball, soccer and volleyball.
Non-Sport – Choir, chess, scripture union, public speaking and debate, media club, science club and first aid club.
Does the School have boarding facilities?
Not at the moment but there are plans to have a boarding facility in the future.
What is the discipline like at the school?
There is no corporal punishment but there are strict rules, regulations and zero tolerance areas in place that all students are expected to follow.
Are students allowed to have cell phones at school
Only the sixth form students are allowed cell phones, but the conditions for their use are stringent.
All others are expected to have cell phones as teachers send material to them via this medium, but are NOT allowed to bring them to school
Is it a co-education institution?
Yes
Is it a registered school?
It is an officially registered school with;
- Ministy of Education.
- With Zimsec and is and official Zimsec examinations centre.
- With Cambridge and an official Cambridge Examinations Centre.
What examinations are on offer?
At “O” level parents get to choose whether they prefer to opt for the Zimsec or the Cambridge examinations and start on the appropriate courses at the start of Form 3.
At “A” level at the moment only the Zimsec examinations are on offer.
What are the fees per term and do fee payment options exist?
The tuition fees per student per term for 2025 payable on or before the start of each term ar:
- a) At the US $ rate 600.00 per term if paid in full.
- b) At the US $ rate 650.00 per term if paid in two parts.
Does the school provide text books to the children?
No. Students provide their own, but where possible school sets may be available for use in some classes and some subjects.
Does the School have a Hall?
Yes.
